Vendor Information & FAQ

Check-in will begin at 6:30 a.m. and will run until 8:30 a.m. Genesee Street will be closed at 6:30 a.m., except for vendors for vendor unloading. Vendors will not be admitted to the festival prior to 6:30 a.m. or after 8:30 a.m. Please arrive on time.

You will check-in at the north end of Genesee Street, just off the Main Street traffic circle.

To ensure a smooth process and prevent traffic congestion, all vendors are asked to queue on Prospect Street, in front of the Post Office and Avon on the Green, which can be accessed via Rochester Street and Cemetery Street. You will then be directed into the registration area.

Main Street does not close, and you will be directed out of the circle so that the arrival and check-in process does not interfere with thru traffic.

This process can take time and we appreciate your patience.

Once you are directed into the check-in area, Avon Rotarians and other volunteers will check you in and provide you with a registration packet and vendor space assignment.

Your vendor assignment may have changed from prior emails. If you have not already, you may want to familiarize yourself with your location using the festival map. See the list of registered vendors for the most recent information.

Your vendor space number will be written in washable grease pen on your windshield by our volunteers.

Once you enter Genesee Street, traffic flows in one direction only (southbound).

For the safety of our volunteers and other vendors, traffic heading north on Genesee Street is strictly prohibited.

If you drive past your spot, you will have to exit the festival at Clinton Street or Oak Street and reenter the festival from the north end of Genesee Street at the Circle.

When you have finished unloading, proceed in a southbound direction to exit the festival on Clinton Street or Oak Street.

After checking in, proceed down Genesee Street to your assigned vendor spot. There will be volunteers to help guide you to your vendor spot, which will also be spray-painted on the street near the curb.

Be careful not to overshoot your location - if you do, you will need to go all the way around and come back in on the north end of Genesee Street.

Once vendors start setting up, it becomes harder to see the spray-painted numbers, so be sure to ask our volunteers to help guide you.

When you arrive at your assigned vendor spot, we ask you to pull off from the center of the road and unload your gear as quickly as possible.

Volunteers will be able to assist you in unloading. If possible, please consider having as many people as you can with you to help with unloading and setting up.

To decrease congestion, we ask you to unload your gear and then exit the festival in your car before returning to set up.

Each assigned vendor space has room for a 10x10 pop-up tent.

Please do not bring tents which exceed the size of your allotted space(s).

We recommend bring weights to be placed on the legs of the tent in case of high winds. Tent stakes cannot be driven into the pavement.

The Avon Rotary Club does not provide tents or weights.

To reduce traffic congestion, we ask you to exit the festival in your car before returning to finish setting up.

Proceed south on Genesee Street and take a lefthand turn onto Clinton Street or Oak Street, depending on your vendor location. Traffic flow is one-way only. Northbound traffic on Genesee Street is strictly prohibited.

Follow signs to the dedicated vendor parking area, which is at the Avon High School, 245 Clinton Street.

We will have a shuttle service running from approximately 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Shuttle dropoffs are at Oak Street or Park Place. Use whichever drop-off location that is more convenient for your location.

There is NO PARKING PERMITTED on Clinton, Oak, Temple or any other side streets. Vendor Parking is at the High School. Please do not park outside of that designated area.

Violators will be towed at their own expense.

After parking, you will have plenty of time to set up your vendor space and Avon Rotarians and other volunteers will be walking around the area to assist. However, with so many vendors and a limited number of volunteers, please plan on providing your own people power for set up.
