Noone is an indie/folk/Americana singer-songwriter from Rochester, NY, known for her soulful voice and poignant songwriting. Performing both solo and with her self-titled band, she’s shared the stage with Brandi Carlile, opened for Lyle Lovett and Jade Bird, and toured extensively throughout the East Coast and Midwest. A Corn Festival favorite, Bob’s Brother’s Band started inconspicuously in August of 2004. While planning for the 2004 Avon Corn Festival, someone mentioned that Bob’s brother had a band that could fill one of the slots at the festival. That left it up to John Barrett (Bob’s brother) to gather some musicians and play at the Festival. Jackson Cavalier is an Americana one-man band based out of the Finger Lakes. His act delivers a dynamic Americana experience, blending elements of folk, blues, country, and bluegrass with raw energy and heartfelt storytelling. He has been a full time recording and performing musician since 2013. Notably, he has opened up for Steve Earle, Willie Watson of Old Crow Medicine Show, The Felice Brothers, Billy Bob Thorton and The Boxmasters, Eilen Jewell, Blackberry Smoke, and Holly Golightly and The Brokeoffs. Steve Kruppner is from Warsaw, NY and is recognized as an exceptional guitarist and singer throughout the Finger Lakes and Western New York areas. A versatile guitarist, Steve plays some serious blues riffs with ease and can crank on the very best americana and acoustic rock tunes in style.

Waiting for Jacob is a versatile band of experienced musicians playing a mix of musical styles geared to each audience. From classic rock ‘ and roll to some serious blues, Waiting for Jacob covers it all…in style! The band features Avon’s own Dave Sharman on guitar and vocals, Jacob Phillips on bass and vocals, Andrew Lawton on drums and vocals, and Paul Fricano on sax, harmonica and vocals. Learn more.

Lauren is a renowned Rochester area musician. From her leadership of Lauren and The Good Souls to her solo act, Lauren is a masterful entertainer. Lauren brings a mix of folk, rock, and pop genres to the stage. If Lauren is performing, it’s always easy listening!

Join Avon Community Theatre at the Corn Festival for a special performance celebrating the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 150th anniversary of the historic Opera Block!
The program will feature of selection of popular folk songs, showtunes and dramatic readings.
